About Sun World Ba Na Hills

Sun World Ba Na Hills is at the top of Chua Mountain, 1,487 metres above the sea and more than 20 km from the centre of Da Nang. You go up by cable car.

Before 2009, about 30,000 to 40,000 people a year came up here, and there were no restaurants on the mountain. The first cable car line opened on 25 March 2009.

Today the top has the Golden Bridge on its two giant hands, the French Village, the Lunar Castle, Fantasy Park and the Le Jardin d'Amour gardens. The 2026 gate ticket covers them on three days in a row.

What The Ticket Covers

On each of the three days, you can ride the cable car as many times as you like.

The ticket includes the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin d'Amour, the Lunar Castle, most rides at Fantasy Park, the art shows, the 3D, 4D and 5D films and the mountain train.

The Golden Bridge

It is 150 metres long.

Each of its two hands is a frame wrapped in wire and fibreglass mesh.

TA Landscape Architecture designed it for Sun Group, and it was built from 2017 to 2018.

After Dark

The park is open until 10pm every day.

After Glow, a cabaret for people aged 18 and over, starts at 6:30pm in Beer Plaza, in the French Village.

Good to know

  • People From Da Nang

    There is a separate gate price for people from Da Nang. Staff check original ID at the ticket gate, before the cable car.

  • Food And Drink

    You cannot bring food or drink in from outside. The rule has been in place since 1 October 2018.

  • This October

    Halloween runs from 1 to 31 October 2026, with pumpkins at Eternal Square and at the entrance to Fantasy Park.
