The city government is to finish the plan, and residents are to be asked for their views. The reports so far do not name the wards or give a date. The new wards from the last rearrangement started work on 1 July 2025. Details

In The City: No-Fly Signs For Drones Around The Airport

If you fly a drone in Da Nang, signs now mark where you may not fly around the international airport. Ward officials and police began putting them up on 16 October, and the city asked for all of them before 20 October.

Scan the QR code on a sign to see what is banned, including kites, balloons and sky lanterns. Fines are 2 to 40 million dong. During the Tet holiday in 2026, drones flown without permission affected 83 flights at the airport. Details
