How do I get from Da Nang airport to the city?

Da Nang airport is about 3 km from the city centre. Take a taxi from right outside arrivals, book a car on an app such as Grab, or take city bus 12 or 06 from outside the terminal for 8,000 to 22,000 VND.

Taxis wait outside the arrivals hall of both terminals, day and night. Walk out, look for pillar 3, one of the numbered posts in the hall, and go to the second car lane, where staff help you get a taxi. The airport puts a taxi price chart at pillar 2. Only some taxi companies take Visa or Mastercard, and an airport entry fee of 10,000 to 30,000 VND may be added to the price.

SIM card counters are in the baggage claim area. If you book a car on an app such as Grab, say whether you are at Terminal 1, for flights inside Vietnam, or Terminal 2, for international flights. At Terminal 2, walk to pillar 3 and follow the signs to the pickup point in front of the glass building in the car park. A covered walkway joins the two terminals, about 5 minutes on foot.

Two city buses stop outside arrivals, at pillar 2 at Terminal 1 and at pillars 7 and 8 at Terminal 2. Bus 12 goes through the city centre on Lê Duẩn street. It runs from 5:30am to 7pm, every 10 to 30 minutes, and a ride costs 8,000 VND.

Bus 06 crosses the Dragon Bridge, runs along Võ Nguyên Giáp, the beach road, and goes on to FPT City in the south. A ride costs 15,000 VND for up to 10.65 km and 22,000 VND for longer. A bus comes every 30 to 60 minutes.
