The Han River Bridge turns to let the boats through
At about 11pm on Saturday and Sunday, the middle of the bridge turns 90 degrees until it lies along the river, so big boats can pass. It turns back at about midnight. Opened in 2000, it was the first bridge in Vietnam that turns, and the people of the city paid 30% of its cost.
