About Fatfish

Fatfish has family roots in Da Nang's fishing community, and seafood has always been at the heart of what it does.

01

From Across Vietnam

The kitchen uses Vietnamese ingredients such as garlic from Ly Son, mozzarella from Da Lat and fish sauce from Phu Quoc. They also cook slow-cooked meats, steaks and vegetarian dishes.

02

Craft Beer On Tap

In their words, they were among the first restaurants in Da Nang to offer craft beer on tap. Today they serve local craft beers, international wines, and classic and signature cocktails.

Three Floors At 473

The new home has three dining floors and private dining spaces, with room for around 140 guests across the floors and the rooftop. They host private functions, celebrations, corporate events and tour groups, with Western and Vietnamese set menus or a menu made for the group.

Flying Fish

Their rooftop bar is on the 4th floor, with views over the Han River and the city. It serves cocktails, wines and craft beers, with bar snacks. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can watch the Dragon Bridge breathe fire and water from there.

05

What They Are Known For

Their own list: local seafood and seafood platters, premium steaks including their signature tomahawk, craft beers, wines and signature cocktails, and brunch every day.

06

Brunch Every Day

Brunch is served every day, with eggs Benedict, smashed avocado on sourdough toast, a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, and French toast. Their regular menu is served at brunch time too.

Wherever possible, its seafood is bought directly from fishermen in Da Nang, and its fruit and vegetables come from farms nearby.

It opened in 2015. For over a decade, its riverside home was 439 Tran Hung Dao.

In January 2026 it moved to a new home, 50 metres down the road at 473 Tran Hung Dao, a little closer to the Dragon Bridge.
