Stop swimming when the lifeguards say their shift is over. Do not go in when the weather is bad or when there is an official warning.
Do not swim where a sign says no swimming, or where there is a rip current, water that pulls you away from the shore. Do not swim out past the safe area.
Children should wear a life jacket and always have an adult with them.
At sea, big waves usually come from September to March.
If someone needs help, tell the nearest lifeguard or call the beach board's hotline, 02362.218.878.
