It opened in 2014 as Asia Park and was renamed Da Nang Downtown in 2024.
On 20 October 2026 Sun World's website had no page for it, and we found no published reopening date.

Is Asia Park, with the Sun Wheel, open?
No. The park on the Han River with the Sun Wheel stopped taking visitors on 3 September 2025. The city tourism portal says it closed to be rebuilt with a completely new look, after 11 years.
