Nén holds a MICHELIN Green Star, and it was the first restaurant in Vietnam to earn one. The Green Star goes to kitchens that lead the way on local, sustainable food. There is one tasting menu, and the team builds it around the seasons. Nearly all of it, about 99 out of every 100 ingredients, comes from Vietnamese farms and Vietnamese seas. You sit in a calm, dark dining room, and the dishes arrive one by one, each one a small picture of where it came from. This is fine dining that tastes like Vietnam, not like somewhere else. Booking ahead is the only way in.
