About Midnight Condo

Midnight Condo is a bar at 234 Bach Dang, in Hai Chau, with windows onto the Han River and the Dragon Bridge. Their own words for it: where the night feels like home.

The idea is a condo, a flat in the city, with a house party inside. They call the bar Room 234, after its street number. Their nights carry the names of rooms, like Living Room and Studio234, and their regulars are called residents.

Early in the night there are slow vinyl songs, cocktails and the view of the bridge. Later the red lights go on and their DJs play open format, hip-hop, US and UK, K-pop and rap. Their line is Strangers at night, friends at midnight.

They call the bar Room 234, after its number on Bach Dang.

Vinyl And The River

Early in the night: slow vinyl songs and cocktails.

Through the window, the Dragon Bridge and the Han River.

The Red Lights Go On

Later, the red lights come on. Their own DJ crew plays open format, hip-hop, US and UK, K-pop and rap.

Guest DJs come too. One came from Mumbai, India, in October.

Nights Named Like Rooms

Living Room is a house party where artists and guests are together. Studio234 is a night in the middle of the week.

Condo Over9 is a party they say is built on a real apartment party.

The Residents

Regulars at Midnight Condo are called residents.

They carry a Resident Card from the bar.

Some nights come with a theme: a cartoon night, or a doll house party.
