Go Vietnamese is at 52 Tran Khanh Du, and it teaches Vietnamese to foreigners and nothing else. It has been doing that since 2017. Their method is stated plainly on their own site: listening and speaking come first, reading and writing come later, and a lot of the work goes into pronunciation. The point is that you can say something in a shop, at the market, to your neighbour, rather than that you can sit a test. Lessons run one to one and in small groups, from complete beginner to advanced, in the room or online, and they teach in Hoi An as well as Da Nang. The group photograph taken outside their door says the rest of it: several dozen foreigners, from a lot of different countries, who all sat in the same room.
