What It Is
Airtime Asia ran from 13 to 16 August 2026 across Da Nang and Hoi An, and the thing that makes it different is who built it. Not one promoter, but community radio stations from across Asia, from Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Manila, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh, Singapore, Bali, Yangon, Ulaanbaatar, Phuket, and Da Nang itself. Each one programmed its own room. On the Friday night the nightlife strip in the middle of Da Nang became one walkable circuit, so people moved between rooms on foot instead of picking one and staying. In the daytime there were talks and workshops, record label showcases on the beach, and DJs playing in cafes. On Saturday everyone moved to Hoi An for workshops, a dinner cooked from what is local, and live music out in the rice paddies. On Sunday it finished at a riverside arts centre with presentations, dinner and a cocktail hour at sunset.

Friday, One Walkable Circuit
Club rooms next to each other in the middle of Da Nang's nightlife strip, each one programmed by a different radio station. You walk between them.

Daytime, Not Only Nights
Talks and workshops, record label showcases on the beach, and DJs playing in cafes while people drink coffee.

Saturday In Hoi An
Workshops, a dinner cooked from what is local, and live music out in the rice paddies.

Sunday By The River
A riverside arts centre for presentations, musical showcases, dinner, and a cocktail hour at sunset.
